In May 2011, we held a Plenum of the Russian Society of Morphologists. 170 participants of various ages from all regions of Russia. After considering a variety of options, we chose the AMAKS Congress Hotel in Rostov-on-Don. The hotel has a sufficient number of rooms, has a wonderful conference room for 250 people with comfortable fixed chairs, which was very important, since the duration of the meetings was long. All the equipment in the hall worked flawlessly, including the projector, microphones, and air conditioning. Now that all the hassle is behind us, we are confident that we have made the right choice. The hotel staff worked flawlessly. They prepared for the arrival of large groups of guests, entered the data into the computer and prepared the electronic keys. Even settling large groups of up to 40-50 people took no more than 10-15 minutes. Actually, everything happened almost simultaneously with the approach of people from the buses. The rooms are clean, all the equipment is working. The cleaning is of high quality. Very good breakfasts. Coffee breaks and lunches took place in the restaurant opposite the hall where the meetings were held. Excellent quality and range for a more than reasonable price. When holding such events, it is very important that people are as concentrated as possible in one place and they need to be occupied. We informed our colleagues in advance about the events taking place at the entertainment center. Most of my colleagues listened to wonderful jazz on Thursday. We are very grateful to the hotel staff for the impeccably organized Plenum.
